Langtang/Gosainkund/Helambu trek and carpet buying
Karna, thank you so much for another wonderful trek. This is my 3rd trek with you - the first being the Annapurna Circuit and then a tour of the Everest region, starting at Jiri and then trekking up to Gokyo, going over Cho La, up to Kala Pattar and then up the Chukhung valley. I continue to learn so much about Nepal from you, even on my 3rd trip! On the Langtang trek, I appreciated the stories about the bee hives on the cliffs, and the trail that was closed because of the black bear. And thank you for translating the stories from our Nepali friends that we met along the way. Those cured Nepalese lepers, that were training to climb Everest, were incredible and so interesting to talk with. When I got sick for a couple of days at Kyanjin Gompa, you did a great job of caring for me, bringing me soup and tea, and encouraging me to eat when I felt nauseous. You were so patient on the trail until I recovered my strength. Above Thulo Syabru, I really like the local trails that you took Chris and I on, away from the main trail. It was fun walking through the local farmers fields, visiting with the locals, but it was sure tiring climbing all their fences! At Gosainkund, you did such a great job telling stories about the lakes, the gods, and the hindu's that pilgrimage there each August. On top of Laurebina La, the awesome view of the Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and the Annapurnas will be etched in my mind forever. I wish we could have spent more time lying on the grass taking in that incredible view. The hole trip was perfect. And those orchids were so beautiful, as we descended toward Sundarijal.
After arriving in Kathmandu, celebrating Tihar Tika with your family was very special for me. I will never forget it. And finally, thank you for your wonderful tour of the Kathmandu valley, including a cherished trip back to Jawalakhel to purchase a wonderful carpet for my wife. You helped me pick out a great one, and my wife loves it! Anyone that books a trip with Nepal Mother House Treks is in for a real treat!

What a FABULOUS TRIP we had on our Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Sanctuary Trip November/December 2010
Our party of 7 visited Nepal for the first time in November 2010 to trek for 5 weeks and what an amazing adventure we had. We were very fortunate to have been recommended a great guide and guy, Karna Rana. He along with other members of his company, Nepal Mother House Treks & Expedition, helped us plan our trek around both the Annapurna Circuit and Sanctuary which we completed with great success. The advice and help given during both our email communications and once we arrived in Nepal was super, he understood our requirements and needs and carried them out professionally, effectively and efficiently. From the time he met us at the airport (the flight was late but Karna had waited and with his friendly, calm manner, quickly got us transferred to the hotel with minimal fuss), to the time he waved goodbye to us at the end of the trip, full of Nepalese Magic , that is already drawing us back, his care for us during our time in Nepal and for both us and his staff whilst on the trek plus his extensive knowledge and experience enabled us to have a brilliant trip. I highly recommend Karna and their company.

It was an amazing time on this trip! I was worried about coming to Nepal since I did not have time to plan the trip myself – however, Mr. Kipal Thapa (Guide of Nepal Mother House Treks & Expedition) figured at my entire trip for me! All things on the trip were perfect – better than I could have planned myself. Because I had such a great time on my trip, I am sure that I will be coming back to visit Nepal again! Everything hotels, Guides and transportation were perfect – I didn't have to worry about anything while on my trip. It was grand!

Excellent Annapurna Circuit Trekking
The trip was really enjoyable! Nepal Mother House Treks was excellent, and the guide and porter were great. Everything exceeded our expectations, and of course, we'll recommend this company to all our friends and upcoming travelers in Nepal. Karna was honest, helpful, and very knowledgeable. We hope to come back to Nepal and our choice will be the same.
Really thank you

Annapurna Small Loop Trekking through Nepal Mother House!!
Lisa and I enlisted Nepal Mother House Treks & Expeditions via the internet because we wanted all the funds to go to a Nepali company and we were not disappointed. All tickets bookings and permits were on time and delivered as promised. We found Karna Rana(our correspondent/ manager) very reliable, helpful, and fair when we wanted to change plans. The Guides, porters and hotels that were recommended gave very good service and advice. When you book somebody from the web you are taking a company on faith when you send a deposit. Nepal Mother House was very professional & proved to be very trustworthy. We have no hesitation in recommending Nepal Mother House Treks for your Nepal experience.

Everest Base Camp and Kala Pattar Trekking
While looking for the Everest Base Camp trek and a climb of Kala Pattar, I found a company (Nepal Mother House Treks & Expeditions) on the internet. They gave a fast response to my questions,, and they made me feel very comfortable in preparing my trip. Excellent services were provided in my first trip to Nepal. The guide provided good arrangements during the trip; he helped me a lot on the way and explained Nepal history, culture and he described the livelihood of the remote villages. I don't think I could have done the trip without their help, providing me encouragement along the way when I got tired. I recommend this Company to all travelers when visiting Nepal.

Perfect Trekking through Nepal Mother House
We are a group of three backpackers in our mid twenties on the final day of our around the world trip. We wished to plan the trip in advance and found the Nepal Mother House Treks & Expedition website very informative. Karna Rana was very helpful and quick to respond to all our queries. On arrival in Kathmandu, it was great to be welcomed by Karna Rana and brought to his office where he gave us a detailed description of what was to be ahead of us over the next 12 days. We also got to meet our trekking guide there at the office.
We found the 12 days of Annapurna Base Camp trekking a bit tough at times, but it was an absolutely amazing experience. We stayed in teahouse along the route, all of which meet are expectations. We found that both the guide and porter added immensely to the quality of our trip. Our guide spoke very good English, which allowed him to tell us his knowledge of the Country, area, route, mountains and local people. Thanks to all who made our trip to Nepal so enjoyable.

Gokyo Valley Trekking through Nepal Mother House Treks
We are two of a group of 12 people from Australia. We are both in our 60's. Our guide, Mr. Karna (our tour operator), and his staff were kind and professional, and they helped make the trip the best it could be for us. Nepal is a beautiful place with its scenery that takes your breath away, and the people were so friendly. We would recommend this trip to any adventuresome person. Thanks Again Karna.

Greet Trekking in Everest and Annaprna!!
I went on a Everest trek with Karna Rana. It was just me, him, and a porter. I was in Nepal for 14 days (I wish I could have stayed longer) and Karna arranged everything, from the moment he picked me up from the airport to when he dropped me off at the same airport 14 days later. He arranged for housing, meals, sightseeing in Kathmandu and Pokhara, and the trek. I chose him as a guide based on the recommendation of some dear and trustworthy friends who had been on a trek with him before, and in retrospect I made a very good choice.

Trekking with Lakpa
Although he is young, Karna has a lot of experience with trekking. He knows the trails inside out and the people involved in the tourism industry at various levels. He is a good organizer and he made all the necessary arrangements for the trip in a very professional way. Our Guide Lakpa speaks very good English and is very knowledgeable about Nepal in general. Apart from being a good guide, he was pleasant company and I learned a lot about the local culture from my conversations with him. So yes, I recommend that you use him as a guide through Nepal Mother House Treks.
Good luck and happy travels! (I loved Nepal and I am hoping to return some day, so I am a bit jealous that you have the chance to go there now :-)
Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek
I highly recommend Nepal Mother House Treks & Expedition. Karna Rana and his staff are both very friendly and professional, making sure that you are happy with their services. The trekking went smoothly with the guide & porter being friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The guide always organized for me to stay in the best places on the trek, making it a more comfortable and enjoyable experience. When Organizing the trek over the internet and in person all my questions and quires were met promptly and answered completely assuring any doubts I had about any issues. The prices for hotel accommodation and tours were cheaper than if I organized it myself. Overall I had a great experience in Nepal and the organization Nepal Mother House Treks & Expedition made sure the trekking, hotels and other tours went off without any hassles.
18 Sundance ways Runaway Bay,
Chisopani & Nagarkot short Trek
It was amazing; I really enjoyed the trekking and my favorite place was Chisopani. The scenery was out of this world and the sun coming up in the morning brought a tear to my eye. Thanks to Guide Gimi. Without him, I don't think we would have made it. Thank you Karna for all your help and great advice. We hope to come back again.
