Langtang Valley Trek

Langtang valley is appropriately called "the valley of glaciers" comes from surrounded gigantic Himalaya; which raise soaring towards the sky. Cooperatively, Short and Easy Langtang Valley Trekking is one of the most popular trekking trails in Langtang National Park. The magnificent mountain views, amazing glaciers, Himalayan holy lakes, varieties of rare flora and fauna and unique culture has been dragging from centuries and theirs day to day live hood are main attraction.

The Langtang Valley Trekking begins with a 6 / 7 hours drive to Syabru Bensi. At first we are trekking through a sub-tropical jungle, then a dense forest of oak, birch and pine before the valley opens out into alpine meadows and yak pastures. During the spring these high meadows seems carpeted by full bloom with rare orchids and the colorful rhododendron (National flower of Nepal). The forests are also well known for their verities wildlife, including red pandas, Himalayan black bear, wild boar, dear and Langur monkeys can be seen especially between Syabru to Ghora Tabela. The trail until to the Bambo is goes gradually along the Langtang Khola. Then it ascends to the Lama Hotel via nice view point Remche and again follow the river bank with wider valley to the Ghora Tabela and get the Langtang Village. Beyond Langtang village is the summer settlement of Kyanjin with its old Gumba (Monastery) and cheese factory surrounded by tremendous mountains range. The small settlement a round yak pastures, dominated by the fluted North West face of Kangchenpo, whilst Kyangjin Ri (4708m) splendid viewpoint. The snow capped including the awesome Langtang Lirung, Pemthang Ri, Langshisha Ri, Dorje Lakpa, and Kangchenpo, Tilman's fluted peak Panorama scenery are visible at 360 degree from Kyangjin Ri, Cherko Ri (4,984m) are as spectacular as anywhere in the Himalaya. If you have more time you may visit Langtang Lirung Base Camp, Langsisha Kharka and airport. After collecting unforgettable memories you will descend to Syabru Besi via sharpa Gaun and drive to Kathmandu following morning.

Langtang Valley Trek is can be do whole year as tea house basic but the best time February to May and August to November. Day 03: Trek Lama Hotel to Langtang (3,430m)

Day 04: Trek Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m)

Day 05: Explore day in Kyanjing Gumba

Day 06: Trek Kyanjin Gompa to Langtang (3,430m)

Day 07: Trek Langtang Village to Bamboo Lodge (1960m)

Day 08: Trek Bamboo to Syabrubesi (1440m)

Day 09: Drive Syabrubesi to Kathmandu

Day 00: Your own destination.

Note: Some time we could face problem due to flight delayed by few hours or cancelled for a day because of bad weather or road traffic. It is happen very rarely, but it could even in best trekking season also as you know how climate change is effecting our globe and the mountain weather is un predicable. Therefore, we always recommend you to add one supplement night in Kathmandu after your trek if possible (just for incase). If everything runs smoothly, you can enjoy other activities like sightseeing, rafting, shopping, as you wish.


Cost Include

  • Arrival and Departure all transportation (airport to Hotel to airport).
  • Full board meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner) during trek with Tea, coffee each meal in a cup.
  • All ground transportation by private vehicles and local bus Kathmandu to Syarubesi and Back to Kathmandu.
  • Langtang National Park Permit and TIMS (Trekkers Information Management System) Cards.
  • Teahouse Accommodation Twin bed sharing basic entire trip per as available.
  • Warm down Jacket and Sleeping Bag for the trek.
  • Government license holder experienced Local Guide with their food, accommodation, salary, equipments.
  • Porter (between every 2 person basis) Max. 20-30 kg Plus their food, accommodation, salary, equipments
  • One Sherpa (assistance guide) if group size more than 6 people. Plus their food, accommodation, salary and equipments.
  • Duffle Bag during trek and first Aid medical kid.
  • Tourist service charge, vat, Governments Tax and official expanse if necessary.
  • Insurance for all staff.
  • Welcome and Fare well program.

Cost Exclude

  • All kind of beverage including mineral water, Phone. calls, laundry, hot shower during Trek.
  • Clients travel Insurance and evacuation (compulsory).
