Ganesh Himal awarded by name of the Hindus deity “Gahesh” (elephant head) - the son of God Shiva and Parvati, according to Hindu’s myth their inhabitance was in the high Himalaya. Ganesh Himal Trekking is designed to introduce you dissimilar culture in different communities, colorful rhododendron forests and beautiful Himalaya scenery. Trekking in Ganesh Himal is one of the best trips not frequented by many tourists. It situated in central Nepal, northwest of Kathmandu between Lanagtang and beautiful Annapurna Himalaya range.

Ganesh Himal Trek begins from 3 to 4 hours scenic drive from Kathmandu to Trisuli Bazaar then along the primitive unspoiled Tamang villages and fantastic mountain scenery proximity to Kathmandu makes this one of our favorite treks. The spectacular Remote Trek to Ganesh Himal follows the least trodden trail far from the madding crowd in the central Himalayan range of Nepal. Walk through the culturally rich unspoiled ethnic villages and dense forest with gorgeous Himalayan flora and fauna on the back dropped of the breath taking mountain range of Ganesh Himal range (7429 m), Manaslu (8163 m), Himalchuli (7540 m), Langtang Li Rung (7,225m) and Paldor peak are the main attraction on this remote trip.

The Ganesh Himal Trip ends in either Arughat or famous historical town “Gorkha” –the birthplace of King Prithbi Narayan Shah, the founder of modern Nepal, the land of the famous Gorkha warriors and the temple of Gorkhanath. Or ends at Dhading Besi from where we catch vehicle to Kathmandu, depends on your holiday schedule and requirements. Day 02: Deurali to Bhaisi Kharka (2,300m)

Day 03: Bhaisi Kharka to Kharani Odar (2,800m)

Day 04: Kharani odar to Singla pass (4,600m)

Day 05: Singla Pass to Pongsang Pass (3,800m)

Day 06: Rest day in Pongsang

Day 07: Pongsang pass to Somdang Phedi (3,300m)

Day 08: Somdang phedi to Gotlang (1,800m)

Day 09: Gotlang village to Syaprubesi (1,400m)

Day 10: Drive Syabrubesi to Kathmandu

Day 06: Pangsang to Sertung Village (2050m)

Day 07: Serthung Village to Laba

Day 08: Laba to Mongeythanti

Day 09: Mongeythanti to Dumchet Village

Day 10: Dumchet Village to Budigandaki

Day 11: Budigandaki to Arughat Bazaar (700m)

Day 12: Arughat Bazaar to Khanchowk Danra.

Note: Some time we could face problem due to flight delayed by few hours or cancelled for a day because of bad weather or road traffic. It is happen very rarely, but it could even in best trekking season also as you know how climate change is effecting our globe and the mountain weather is un predicable. Therefore, we always recommend you to add one supplement night in Kathmandu after your trek if possible (just for incase). If everything runs smoothly, you can enjoy other activities like sightseeing, rafting, shopping, as you wish.

  • Full board meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner) during trek with Tea, coffee each meal in a cup.
  • High quality camping equipments quality North Face or Mountain Hardware or similar kitchen, dining, toilet tents, mattresses, and kitchen equipments.
  • All Transportation from Kathmandu to Trishuli Bazaar and Trekking ending point to Kathmandu local bus.
  • Trekking Permite, TIMS (Trekkers Information System) Cards.
  • Teahouse or Home Stay Accommodation Twin bed sharing basic entire trip per as available.
  • Warm down Jacket and Sleeping Bag for the trek.
  • Government license holder experienced Local Guide with their food, accommodation, salary, equipments.
  • Porter (between every 2 person basis) Max. 20-30 kg. Plus their food, accommodation, salary, equipments
  • One Sherpa (assistance guide) if group size more than 6 people. Plus their food, accommodation, salary and equipments.
  • Duffle Bag during trek and first Aid medical kid.
