The sixth highest mountains in the world Mt. Dhulagiri (8,167m), located west of Annapurna, expend with 40 miles wide Himalaya range. Dhaulagiri Trek begin from Beni after long scenic drive from Kathmandu, you will spend the first few days of your trek walking through cultivated fields associated with mountain villages; enjoying teahouses, lifestyle of the inhabitance of Magar, Gurung and Chhetri community and their culture. If you wish to make shorter trip, there is public bus or jeep services available from Beni to Darbang. Now there are basic tea house service entire trip, except from Itali Base Camp to Hidden Valley Camp for 4 to 5 days. The trail leads you along the paved paths over suspension bridge and goes to through the dense oak, juniper, rhododendron, other deciduous trees forest and many species of flowers are abundantly found on the trail and panoramic view of some world’s most beautiful mountains and hidden rivers. The trekking trail follows deep into the Dhaulagiri Himal to the Italian Base Camp and Dhaulagiri north base camp, offering a spectacular view of massive north face of Dhaulagiri I. Then you will cross two high passes, the French pass (5,240m) and Thapa pass (5,155m) providing more fabulous views of Dhaulagiri, Throng peak, Annapurna and Kali Gandaki River; the world deepest gorge beneath of you. Around this area you may encounter semi -wild yak herds, mountain sheep and the mysterious snow leopard in the remote valleys of Dhaulagiri region. And then finally descent to the famous Annapurna Circuit Trekking route in Marpha Village. Afterward, the trail goes to through kali Gandaki valley trekking up to Jomsom, the gateway of Mustang. You can either fly from Jomsom to Pokhara or drive back to Pokhara via Beni. Or you can visit Hindu and Buddist religious site up to Muktinath and then fly Back to Jomsom.

Note: Some time we could face problem due to flight delayed by few hours or cancelled for a day because of bad weather or road traffic. It is happen very rarely, but it could even in best trekking season also as you know how climate change is effecting our globe and the mountain weather is un predicable. Therefore, we always recommend you to add one supplement night in Kathmandu after your trek if possible (just for incase). If everything runs smoothly, you can enjoy other activities like sightseeing, rafting, shopping, as you wish.
