Annapurna Round Trekking

The most popular Annapurna Round Trek was opened for the trekkers in 1997. The trek starts from the lowlands lush fields, forests and alpine up through the mountains into the arid Trans-Himalayan, on the edge of the Tibetan Plateau. Finally it heads back again through forests of rhododendron, magnolia, and juniper which spray out their floral perfume on your trail during blooming season. Expert trekkers still consider this 250 km circuit as the ultimate long distance trek in Nepal, even though there is quite high trekking traffic nowadays

While walking on the Annapurna Round trekking you will go through the adventures Pass, glaciers, ice falls, the world's deepest valley, pine forests, rice terrace, alpine tundra vegetation, remote villages, ancient monasteries and others religious holy sites. The Round Annapurna Trek begins from Besisahar (823 m) to highest point, the Throung La Pass elevation of 5,416 meters, which makes for challenging and wonderful mountains scenery, culturally rich ethnic groups in different climate zones. The trail goes through the Marsyandi riverside and continues north into the wooded Manang Valley via Chamje, Pisang, and Braga to the Thorung La Pass. Then it steeply descends to the Hindu and Buddhist shrines at Muktinath. Indeed, the Annapurna Round Trip is rich in geological and cultural diversity and one visit won’t be enough for most adventures lovers. For the Round Annapurna trekking you won’t need any special experience of climbing beyond normal hiking. While trekking here you can visit the world’s highest lake, Tilicho Lake, situated at 4,919 meters above sea level. Annapurna Round Trek is very less possible to get high altitude sickness but still we recommend for acclimatization one day in Manang, excursion around Manang valley for your safe journey. You must take time initial, getting used to the elevation above the 2,000 m. This trek is one of the best panoramic view trekking, where you can explore Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, Pisang peak, Gangapurna Himal, Tilicho Peak, Annapurna Himal range, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Tukuche Peak and many more mountains scenery.

There are good Trekkers lodge (Teahouse) facilities Managed by Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) and eco-aware local people. We at “Nepal Mother House Treks” offer Annapurna Round Trekking itinerary in shorter and longer versions according to your demand.
