12 Days Kathmandu Chitwan Lumbini Tansen Pokhara Nagarkot Tour

Next day you will head to Chitwan National Park for 2 nights 3 days Jungle Safari program. This is first National Park of Nepal, established in 1973 and listed on UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. The park is especially renowned for its protection of the endangered one- horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal tiger, and Ghadiyal (crocodile) along with many other common species of wild animals. The fourth part of your Kathmandu Chitwan Lumbini Pokhara tour, you will stay overnight at Tansen at Palpa District on the way to Pokhara. Tansen is hill station an old western city with an amazing history and some marvelous architecture with lovely weather. It is about 85 kilometers north of Lumbini and 122 kilometers from Pokhara. It is a wonderful panoramic view of the Himalaya as well as the plains of Terai and Palpali unique culture and history. This is among a few towns outside of the capital which bears a rich legacy of the traditional art and architecture. Located at an elevation of 1310 meters, Tansen is a pleasant place to visit during any season of the year. Tansen is mostly well-known for various kinds of handicrafts, textile and organic coffee. Karuwa, a water jug of bronze, typical Nepali cap and shawl made of Dhaka textile are famous souvenirs from Tansen.
